Suspicious fire in Kitchener sparks police investigation

Waterloo regional police are investigating a suspicious hearth that occurred in Kitchener Friday night time.

Round 11:20 p.m., police say emergency companies responded to a report of a hearth within the space of Westmount Highway East and Ottawa Road South.

Two dumpsters and a wood construction had been broken by the hearth, police say.

The reason for the hearth is taken into account suspicious.

In line with police, the hearth was shortly extinguished by the Kitchener Hearth Division.

There have been no accidents reported.
