TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, N.M. (AP) — One individual has died within the crash of an ultralight in central New Mexico, authorities mentioned Monday.

Federal Aviation Administration officers mentioned the crash occurred round 6 p.m. Sunday close to the Fact or Penalties airport and the pilot was the one individual aboard.

New Mexico State Police mentioned they had been holding the scene for the FAA to research.

However FAA officers mentioned their company doesn’t examine unregistered ultralight or glider accidents as a result of they don’t meet the definition of an plane.
