Journalists to stage fresh strikes in pay dispute

undreds of journalists at a number one writer are to stage recent strikes in a dispute over pay.

Members of the Nationwide Union of Journalists at Nationwide World will stroll out on September 22 and 25 following a stoppage earlier this week.

The journalists, who work on titles together with The Scotsman, Yorkshire Put up, Sunderland Echo and Lancashire Put up, are presently working to rule in protest at a 4.5% pay rise.

Laura Davison, NUJ nationwide organiser, stated: “We all know Nationwide World can afford to revise its pay package deal for employees, guaranteeing journalists can afford to stay on the jobs they rightly take satisfaction in.”
