Why aren’t ‘Law & Order: SVU’ and ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ on TV tonight (3/7/24)?

“Law & Order” fans will not see any new episodes of the three shows tonight.

While “Law & Order” will be a rerun at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024, on NBC, “Law & Order: SVU” and “Law & Order: Organized Crime” will not air because of President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress.

Biden’s address is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
New episodes of the three police procedurals will return on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
