‘All in the Family,’ ‘Full House,’ ‘The Cosby Show’: TV Actors Share Favorite TV Families | Supporting Actor Class Photo

Ali Wong, star of American Housewife, revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that she most related to the TV family “The Tanners” from Full House. Wong’s choice was just one among many shared during the Supporting Actor Class Photo.

“I like the Huxtables,” said Aisha Hinds from Underground. Alison Wright of The Americans opted for a darker selection with Bloodline.

Ron Cephas Jones from This is Us reflected on the limited representation of African American families on TV during his upbringing. “There weren’t many African American families on TV when I was growing up, so I guess I would have to say something like Good Times,” he remarked.

More roundtables featuring comedy and drama actresses, actors, showrunners, and reality creators will continue to be featured through July in both print and online formats. Be sure to catch new episodes of Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter starting May 25 on Sundance TV. Additionally, clips will be available at THR.com/topic/roundtables, with full episodes accessible on THR.com after their broadcast.
