The arrest took place early yesterday morning in the charming southern Maine resort town of Ogunquit. Struthers was pulled over on U.S. Route 1 by local police.
Despite the seriousness of the situation, Struthers appeared unfazed in her mug shot, smiling broadly for the camera. She was charged with criminal operating under the influence and released on $160 bail.
At 65, Struthers has been performing in the musical 9 to 5 at the Ogunquit Playhouse. According to Police Sgt. Buttrick, a motor vehicle violation initially prompted the officer to stop Struthers, though he did not specify the exact nature of the violation.
