Pilot and passenger walk away from emergency crash landing at Ottawa Airport

Ottawa paramedics say nobody was damage after a small airplane made an emergency touchdown on the Ottawa Airport on Saturday.

In accordance with paramedics, the airplane’s entrance touchdown gear wasn’t locking in place because the pilot went to land.

There have been two folks on the airplane. They circled round for 2 hours earlier than making an attempt to land, skidding to a cease.

The airplane’s props have been broken within the touchdown, however the two folks aboard walked away unhurt.

Airport spokesperson Krista Kealey advised CTV Information Ottawa a Cessna pilot reporting touchdown gear points to the management tower. The airport fireplace service workforce and the Ottawa Hearth Service have been available, per customary process. 

The runway was shut down for six hours.

Kealey stated there was no influence to airport operations because of the emergency touchdown.
