Eva LaRue announced her engagement to a new husband

Eva LaRue, best known for her role as Maria Santos on All My Children, has announced that she is getting married. This will be the third marriage for the beloved actress, who previously tied the knot with actor John O’Hurley and her All My Children co-star, John Callahan (ex-Edmund Grey). LaRue and Callahan share a daughter, Kaya McKenna, born in December 2001.

LaRue’s new fiancé is businessman Joe Cappuccio, and the couple plans to marry sometime in 2009, though a specific date has not yet been set.

LaRue and Callahan first crossed paths during Callahan’s stint on Santa Barbara, where LaRue’s first husband also worked. Their relationship blossomed when they reunited on the set of All My Children in 1993. Their on-screen romance soon turned into a real-life love story, leading to their marriage on November 30, 1996.

However, in 2004, LaRue announced their separation after several months apart. “We have a rather big bombshell to drop and we don’t quite know how to say it,” LaRue said in a statement. “John and I, after many months of separation, are confirming our split.”

Despite the end of their marriage, LaRue and Callahan have continued to co-parent their daughter, Kaya. Now, as LaRue prepares to embark on this new chapter with Joe Cappuccio, her fans and loved ones eagerly await more details about the upcoming nuptials.
