Grande Prairie hit-and-run leaves pedestrian with broken bones; RCMP searching for driver of red SUV

A pedestrian suffered a number of damaged bones after a hit-and-run crash in Grande Prairie final month.

Emergency crews have been known as to the realm of 100 Avenue and 112 Avenue in that metropolis between 5 and 6 p.m. on Aug. 29.

Police stated on the time the pedestrian was hit by an unknown automobile.

They have been taken to hospital in steady situation.

The incident was not reported to RCMP till Sept. 12.

Police didn’t have an outline of the suspect automobile till receiving a tip from the general public. RCMP are on the lookout for a mid-sized pink SUV that has a chrome entrance grill and chrome roof rack. 

Investigators on the Grande Prairie RCMP detachment are on the lookout for any witnesses or anybody who might need dashcam footage from the time of the crash to name them at 780-830-5701 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
