Mariska Hargitay has crashed Al Roker’s weather segment on Today as fans marveled over the incident.

Mariska walked over to where Al was reporting on the weather during Thursday’s episode of the morning show at his urging.

The 59-year-old strolled over to Al, 69, to join him.

“I’ve always wanted to be a newscaster,” she admitted as she walked over.

“We can make that happen!” host Savannah Guthrie exclaimed.

When Mariska reached Al and his forecast board, he showed her how to use it by touching the areas she wanted to explore.

“I’m gonna touch California,” she announced.

As Al tried to give his weather report, Mariska continued to tap across the map as Al narrated.

At the end, the star posed with Al side by side.

“Can I get a chung-chung?” Al asked.

Mariska obliged, making the iconic Law & Order noise.

The pair then moved on to the next segment.

Fans shared their thoughts on Mariska’s forecast attempt on social media.

“the power she holds,” one fan wrote.

“that was a really nice segment. But with Mariska & Al working together, who plays the good cop and who plays the bad cop? (because i think you got two good cops/meteoroligists there),” another commented.

“Elle est iconique,” a third viewer posted.

IS HE AL-RIGHT?

Al was missing from Today earlier this week without warning.

Fans have worried for the meteorologist’s health recently.

He did not report the weather on Today on Monday.

Instead, Dylan Dreyer filled in for him.

She is a meteorologist and one of Al’s typical co-hosts on Today Third Hour.

Dylan, 42, reported on the extremely cold weather around most of the country, as well as the snow that is coming.

Al, 69, was also out for Today Third Hour.

He typically hosts with Dylan, Craig Melvin, and Sheinelle Jones.

However, Al, Craig, 44; and Sheinelle, 45, were all absent.

“Al, Craig, Sheinelle, all off on this holiday morning,” Dylan said as she started off the Third Hour.

January 15 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Weekend anchors Laura Jarrett and Peter Alexander filled in for the missing hosts.

IS HE SNOW-K?

Today fans feared for Al’s health last week when he went on a snowy adventure.

He took a walk outside and shared a clip to his Instagram.

It was snowing where he was and Al bundled up in a hat, coat, and multiple layers.

The meteorologist said in the clip that he was well-prepared for the outing and had a “waterproof layer, nice warm gloves, and very warm socks.”

“Nothing like a #snowysunday to take part in our #100mile @starttoday_ challenge,” Al captioned his post.

“And tune in to @todayshow tomorrow am for an all morning #starttoday walking extravaganza with @stepitupwithsteph.”

‘STAY SAFE’

While many fans praised Al for being so dedicated to staying active, many were concerned for his well-being, especially after his major health issues in 2022, including hospitalizations for blood clots, and his knee surgery last year.

“Stay warm and safe,” one fan begged.
