Man arrested after climbing the Cheesegrater in London

man has been arrested after a free-climber was seen scaling the Leadenhall Constructing in central London.

Footage of the incident on Friday confirmed a person climbing the 225-metre-tall skyscraper, often known as the Cheesegrater, with out the usage of climbing gear.

Metropolis of London Police stated a suspect was met by officers on the roof and arrested

He was later taken into custody.

Chief Inspector Tom Fisher, Metropolis of London Police stated: “A person has been arrested for aggravated trespass after climbing up the Leadenhall constructing within the Metropolis.

“We had been known as at 09:06 and rapidly put a cordon in place. He was met on the roof by cops and brought into custody.”
